Yangyum Dahk

ヤンニョムチキン
Sweet and Spicy Chicken Drumsticks - Korean Style




Ingredients  
  • 10 Chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper
Sauce 
  • 3 tablespoons Japanese tonkatsu sauce
  • 1 tablespoon korean red pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 1/4 tablespoon Sesame

Directions  

Chicken

1. Set the oven rack in the middle position. Preheat oven to 200C (400F). Prepare a baking sheet with waxed paper, set aside.With a fork to make several holes in the chicken

2. Sprinckel 2tbs Olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper on the chicken drumsticks then set aside for 15minutes.

3. Put them in the oven, roast for 20minutes each side or Until golden brown. 

Sauce 

4. In a frying pan Mix together 3 tbs Japanese tonkatsu sauce, 1 tbs korean red pepper, 1 1/2 tbs ketchup , 2 tbs maple syrup,1 tbs vinegar, Pepper. Bring to boil.
 







5. Return chicken to the pan with the sauce and mix evenly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

6. Put back the chickens in the frying pan. Coatis them evenly. Sprinkle the sesame seeds.
